Since 1980

In 1980, I acquired my first two Irish Setters, brothers, Beethoven and Escher. I competed in many Obedience Trials with the boys and finished their CDX titles. I became enthusiastic in competitions and the breed itself, and realized that I also wanted to have beautiful Irish Setters and show them in conformation.

I bought my first show Irish in 1986 Ch.Drogheda Enchanted Dream CD, JH. She was my first Champion, Junior Hunter, and Dam of my first litter that started Red Cloud Setters.

Taking Pride in our Kennel Lines

Red Cloud Setters breeds for quality standards of Irish Kennel lines. Our dogs and bitches are bred for outstanding conformation, striking coats, and expressive personalities.

Our kennel has produced quality litters, including a litter of five from Ch. Drogheda Enchanted Dream, a National Specialty class winner. Many of our kennel lines have gone to receive their Championships and Grand Championships in the conformation ring, as well as hunting, obedience & agility titles in the performance ring.
